Metallica were a heavy metal band active from 1981. It ended in 1986 after the death of Cliff Burton. The Uncyclopedia articles on Metallica met a more gruesome fate. But there are articles on:

• Megadeth, a similar band, but not quite as good (but never say this to their fanboys because they will never shut up and will make stuff up like how "Dave wrote every single Metallica song ever!"
