Even with several active admins, mainly Olipro, Braydie, and Zombiebaron, there is still a huge load of cruft in Uncyclopedia's database, a continuous stream of vandals, and many articles in dire need of attention. The best solution, other than to wipe out the whole database and disable IP editing and account creation, seems to be electing another admin.

• Against. We're not in that much of a dire need for more admins. We're moreso in a dire need of people that can report crap so the admins can delete it. We need a few more people that will volunteer to find the worst pages in this wiki and VFD, ICU, and QVFD them daily. --~

• Sorry. We just HAD a sysop election. Also, the sysops are only human robotic huff-machines and steam banhammers. They can't get everything. The sysops actually, do a good job. • Against As per Jacques. Regular users can list crap on QVFD, VFD etc (and VOTE on VFD), as well as reverting vandalism and reporting them on Ban Patrol. As for rewriting hopeless articles, pretty sure thats everyones job too. • For - I've personally never understood what is wrong with having more admins than we really need. If a person would make a good admin, I think they should be opped ASAP. In fact, I get the feeling that certain users (and possibly more) are getting more and more homicidal/suicidal with every month they have to wait to become an admin. Or, at least, I'm pretty certain about that last one I linked to. Anyway, somehow I think the admins themselves are supposed to decide whether or not to have an election. • Against - I'd understand an admin making this topic, because they can see if there is a problem with a certain part of the site - be it watching recent changes, new pages or maintenance. But because every time this comes up it's a non-sysop requesting it, it kinda points towards them wanting to be one.
