Stereotypical trends related to Gen Z.

Generation Z, or Zoomers, consists of creatures born between the mid-1990s when the Internet was starting to rise, and the early 2010s when the economy began to fall. They are noted for being the uncoolest generation. Before Zoomers were the Millennials, known for being less cringy than its children.

Terminology[edit]

The younger part of Gen Z.

The term "Generation Z" has been used at various times to label "cringe" (as part of a continuation of the alphabet or from the 70s and 80s when the word "Zenith" was more common than ever). However, the term did not come into its modern definition until after the release of Generation Z: We adults regret having these Children since 1995 or sometime, a 2011 novel. Demographer HeHe noted the delay in naming this demographic cohort saying, "Over 15 years after their birthday, they didn't have a good name. They deserve this punishment." Previously, the cohort had been referred to as After-Millennials, Millennial-Haters, Dab-Lovers, Generation X 2.0 (For the 2010s), and the Fidget Spinner Generation.

Terms such as "Young Youngsters" and "Solar Youngsters" have been used to describe those born from 2012 to 2018 (or who will be born until 2021), who don't really fit in with the earlier part of Gen Z but don't need a separate generation to categorize them either. Young Youngsters parents claim their child "only had a digital childhood", though this could apply to anyone born before 2035 which, as of 2018, is all of the World Population. No really, I know this is a joke site, but seriously, have you ever talked to someone who was born after 2035? And don't give that excuse that you had a time machine, those don't even exist yet! If you were born after 2035, first of all, you're lying, and second of all, you'd have your entire body converted to digital, not just your childhood.

Characteristics[edit]

Compare Gen X/Millennial tech to Gen Z tech if you will.

Millennials typically describe Zoomer young children as “Never too much”, but that was hardly surprising from that generation, who had spent more time playing Crappy Video Games and staring at Dab/Vine compilations. Such stereotypes prompt sociological research at Stanford University to study the accuracy of the characterization of Gen Z young children.

Generally, Zoomers are the children of Generation X and older Millennials. Despite the attraction to older technology for Millennials, Zoomers had much better and improved technology than the past with inventions such as Online Porn, YouTube, and Cringe.

Video games[edit]

Zoomers broke new ground with online games like Roblox and Minecraft, along with Flash games that many 90s/Early 2000s kids can easily remember. These types of gaming continue to this day and aren't likely to stop anytime soon..... maybe until like 2123.
