Star rotation[edit]

Despite many making remarks on the VFP-page itself, I thought I'd follow the rules and ask the creator this question: Why are the stars seemingly randomly rotated, making them also look like they're not perfectly aligned? For me it's the biggest turn-off.

Star rotation answer[edit]

Short: There isn't really a simple explanation except it looked stiff to me with all stars identical.

Long: The idea was to make a sentiment about american culture erasing local cultures. Originally I used only one star (as in the original turkish flag) and then I turned the crescent into pacman, but I wanted the picture to show an action, so by placing the turkish stars on a line it seems obvious that Pacman is in the process of consuming the national identity. --Sinspawn 01:35, 8 February 2006 (UTC)

Fear not, American culture cannot consume the Turkish culture. Turks are known to be one of the most adaptable nations on earth, without losing their identity. Do you think we were anything close to what we are now before the Oguz migration to Anatolia?
