Dark and menacing? Definitely.

Drum Corps International, or 'DCI' is an exotic form of Satanism, or Devil Worship, that has largely gone unnoticed within American society until now. Most drum and bugle corps within this secretive organization have levels of talent and strength that make the performers in high school and college marching bands look and sound like a crowd of dying cats on a football field. The seemingly inhuman levels of strength, endurance, and coordination of drum corps performers have led many skeptics to wonder just how DCI corps can really be 'that good'. Several paranormal experts have analyzed the DCI organization and have concluded that the abilities of these performers are unnatural and must be demonic in origin. It is widely theorized that, upon enrolling in a drum and bugle corps, performers undergo a ritual in which they sacrifice their mortal souls in exchange for godlike levels of talent, physical beauty, and the undying devotion and love of thousands of worshiping fans. In 2017, when asked about whether or not the allegations of Satanism and demonic ritualism were true, DCI Executive Director Dan Acheson firmly denied these accusations, stating "I have no idea what in the hell you people are talking about". However, Acheson's willingness to invoke the name of "hell" has only served to affirm experts' suspicion of DCI's alleged demonic activity.

History[edit]

Demonic Possession? Probable.

Drum Corps International was founded in 1972 when the leaders of several drum corps gathered together to form what is now known as the 'Council of Thirteen." Meeting in secret under the cover of night, not much is now known about the various rituals that were conducted by the council or what was said. However, what is known is that the meeting of the thirteen is that they formed a pact to form DCI, binding them together for all eternity.

The Competitive Season[edit]

Drum and Bugle Corps assemble each season during a hellishly hot part of the year to begin learning the show that they will devote themselves to that year. What happens prior to the beginning of the competitive season is not well documented. However, during their practices, performers suffer hours upon hours of practice in levels of heat that most humans would consider unbearable. Each corps will also tirelessly practice from dawn until dusk, undergoing physical strain and torment that would destroy the fragile shells of mere mortals. Experts theorize that this process is likely meant to extract the souls from new performers through pain and brute force so that the empty vessel can then be inhabited by the presence of a demonic spirit. By the end of this seemingly endless roulette of practices and drills, each corps is then able to execute their routines and shows with the pinpoint accuracy of soulless machines.

Performances[edit]

Satanic undertones? Undeniable.

Perhaps the most damning evidence for DCI's satanic roots are the shows that they field each season. While some most corps perform shows that can please the public with performances that only employ subtle undertones of materialism, lust, and wrath, these seemingly innocent shows are only a facade that are used to divert attention from performance that are overt displays of demonic ritualism. Examples of this include Santa Clara Vanguard's 2011 program, "The Devil's Staircase", Carolina Crown's 2014 program, "Inferno", Genesis' 2016 program, "Hell Hath No Fury", and any show performed by the unholiest Drum and Bugle Corps of all, the Blue Devils. It is also highly suspect that a corps called the "Blue Devils" currently holds the record for having the highest numbers of DCI World Championship titles. Coincidence? Certainly not!
