- I disagree with the idea of killing the recent articles template. It's the easiest (only?) way to actually see which articles are actually new and/or completely rewritten, and I don't think any bot would be able to do the same. If anything, I'd like to see "recent articles" shoved under "Did you Know?", which should end the blank space problem. Lemon.

Maybe we should go through the "On this day..." and delete whatever's not funny.

The problem isn't really that the left column is too short, it's that the Anniversaries, now in their second go-round, are massively overgrown. It would be benissimo if some people took it upon themselves to weed out the subpar stuff. And I really like the Recent Articles template, especially because it seems like only people really familiar with Uncyc use it...so it's usually a good place to go for quality articles. —rc (t) 02:39, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
