  • Before I begin, let me just say a few things: IRC. #uncyclopedia. webchat. Wikipedia's list of IRC clients. #uncyclopedia stats.
  • So, in October 2010 when I returned from my sabbatical, I started a forum page about how people need to go on IRC more. Well, guess what guys? I'm back again to tell you exactly the same thing as last time. In case you're unaware, most of the admins use IRC. Most of the time it is the best way to contact an admin. Just check out the stats, all of the top 5 most active talkers in the channel are admins. Yes, the majority of people in the channel are lurkers (stay on IRC 24/7, rarely say anything). Yes, sometimes when you join the channel there will be nobody to talk to. But also, yes, IRC is the best way to connect with other members of the Uncyclopedia community in real time. If more users used IRC on a regular basis we could more easily collaborate on articles and ideas for improving the wiki. So go get on IRC! Use the links above! It's easy! It's free! It will alleviate the boredom of your daily grind in magical and mysterious ways! It will change your life (not necessarily in a good way)! Just do it. If you need help getting on IRC I would be happy to help. -- Brigadier General Sir Zombiebaron 20:24, February 1, 2012 (UTC)
  • Yeah, like... give the treeferrets something to do, you lot. Or maybe you could even help get rid of the treeferret infestation the channel has accumulated of late... I swear, between the dust and the dead trees and the ferrets, it's a wonder we even still have a channel.

  • LISTEN TO THIS MAN. Without IRC, I was barely a user of this site. Now I'm hopelessly addicted. --Littleboyonly.jpg TKFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK Oldmanonly.jpg 01:24, February 3, 2012 (UTC)
