Uncyclopedia is not low on Google's pagerank anymore. Check this: http://www.google.com/search?q=uncyclopedia.org Uncyclopedia is officially out of Google's index. However there are pages from Uncyclopedia that still appear in Google: http://www.google.com/search?q=site:uncyclopedia.org But not the main page anymore. Fishos 19:15, 24 May 2006 (UTC)

- Google not only dropped pageranks on pages it has in its cache, but it seems to reject other Uncyc pages like the main page. Either Google is biased against Uncyclopedia, or someone has been doing Black Hat SEO operations against Uncyclopedia pages to drop them out of Uncyclopedia or hurt their pageranks. Did someone create a link farm to fool Google into thinking that Uncyclopedia is creating link farms? That seems to be the best Black Hat SEO (Search Engine Optimization) method to knock someone else out of Google. Also the AdSense on Uncyclopedia says "Lunch Money" instead of "Spounsored Ads" like Google says it should say. Do the Uncyclopedia webmasters read this forum? Because I have a suggestion for you.
- Go to http://www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps/ and sign up http://uncyclopedia.org/ (no "www"). You'll have to upload a file with a given random name to the root directory for verification.
- Click "Manage http://uncyclopedia.org/" and all of Google's indexing errors will show right up.

- People, I think I just found gold. I looked for a sitemap on Fishos' site links, and it seems we don't have one. Also interesting is that google claims we are in the index but only site:uncyclopedia.org returns any results. --

- You don't have one of what? Sorry I'm a bit slow today :) (edit) - Ah, don't have a sitemap? That is actually not very important to have (normally). If you have a sitemap you can help Google indexing your site by giving Google the list of all pages in Uncyclopedia, but Google should be able to find it using its own Googlebots anyway. In the Google Sitemaps page, there are also reports on your site's conflicts with Google, unrelated to site maps. But you must have upload access to to root directory of the site in order to see Google's error reports (and other reports). Fishos 13:56, 27 May 2006 (UTC)

Look at this! Through an experiment, I found out that if you search for Uncyclopedia on Google, uncyclopedia.org articles only show up at the bottom of the results if you tell the engine to include all of the results. Mr. Predictable 13:51, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
