Forum:Google Maps are cool, and do we have flag icons?
Yer know what's cool are Google Maps. It's so much fun, when you want to commit a murder in an article (Biggleswade F.C. where Professor Burnley drowns his wife) you can go right to the River Ivel at Biggleswade and find the exact spot for the deed. I love that! The coppers will never pin it one me 'cos I have the perfect alibi: I was surfin' teh internets just when Fangora Burnley started sucking mud. Beat that, coppers! Anyway, my real topic is: you know those little flag icons used in Wickedpedia's football articles? Do we have those? Or should I upload some into the image db? I downloaded a dozen or so from Wickedpedia just for fun; I can easily upload to our database, and the files are tiny and small and all like that, or I suppose I could link to Wickedpedia commons? - I'd say upload 'em. I did a search for "Image-flag" in Image namespace and got a ton of them, so the flag you want could already be on. 27/04 20:46

I need a bunch of regular flag icons, and some special ones as well (pirate flag, space alien flag, wanker flag) to indicate player nationality the way it's done in WickedP's football club articles. - Aha, why did I not look in Categories? Ans: Becauz I are a dumbie. Well, I'll add in the ones that don't already exist...in a bit. I'm still playing with the list of Biggleswade notable players. (addendum) I think I'll upload them all. The existing ones are nice slightly 3-D icons; the ones I have are simple-flat, and so it's easier to construct custom variations like the wanker flag. Goggale mpsa (deliberate miss Plelling) are eery. Did you know that them gologians will keep records of all things you did from your IP address for the next 20000 years ?. You look at your residence once on golleg amps, they tie your IP address to your cooorooocrorooordinates (yes, all mipslellings are dleribate) and then in twenty ten three years the mlytariries will have this waepon affectionatly known as the final banninator they point it at yoy IP addres and it's the Byg Sleap for you.
