Some of our best reskins have been based (vaguely) on real anniversaries and events. Wikipedia:Selected anniversaries is a good place to start, as is BBC - On This Day. -- Sir Codeine K·H·P·B·M·N·C·U·Bu. · (Harangue) 11:40, 19 October 2006 (UTC)

I did two reskins (the 666 and the Canada Day ones) and was told to slow down, and basicly to stop, because there were to many reskins. If I remember correctly, the prevailing opinion is that there should be apprx. one reskin a month. Earlier this year, we were avg. 2-3 a month, and that was too much (which is probably when Zombie got his last info). it's been months since the last reskin, so another would certainly be a good idea (although checking with TINC leader RC before doing ANYTHING is always a good idea).--<<>> 02:10, 21 October 2006 (UTC)

RC voted down a popular Benson reskin that I thought was kinda funny. And I'm not saying it as a Bensonist, I'm saying it as it's, just plain funny. But there are always other ideas. We could reskin it for Halloween. You know, do a Zork reskin and mention creeping Grues (then again, I know some of you are tired of Grues). Crazyswordsma n...With SAVINGS!!!! I have an idea I've discussed with RC regarding the hoidays...Assuming my article gets a features, we could do one Hanukkah reskin, and then another Christmas one with Todd's The Night After Christmas...Just a possibilty. -- Sir C

Menu hiding is as simple as getting an admin to aprove it. But preferably we don't want to always hide those in reskins. ---Rev. Isra (talk) 19:28, 21 October 2006 (UTC)

I have ideas for two reskins: Eon8 and Web 2.0. I'll start with the latter, because it wouldn't make much sense for an Eon8 reskin to be showcased until July 1, 2007. - User:Guest/sig 18:14, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

The only thing wrong with the hitchhiker's one was the colours, everything else was good. As for that topic, it made the fundamental mistake of asking people. You just have to say, "we're doing this reskin on this day" and people won't get that chance to complain.
