Forum:My sojourn in a proposal for in-jokes
Just had a thought relating to in-jokes. As they are a part of the Uncyc history, and there is significant support to keep them, we ideally should keep them. However, we don't want to create any new ones, or have them mingling in with our newer articles. So I'm thinking if we have a dedicated namespace for these we can keep them, but keep them separated. So I was wondering about the creation of an "In joke" namespace. What do you think? Pup 04:22 01 Mar '12

- By politely discouraging their creation the same way we do now - QVFD, VFD, ICU, etc. It's not 100% effective, but by keeping these out of main space, people won't have the poor example to encourage creation of more. Pup 05:09 01 Mar '12
