Hello friends,

You may remember me as Procopius, which I still am. About a year ago I moved to a new city, with a new IP address. One day I was looking at my beloved Uncyclopedia, when I noticed a minor typo. I fixed it, but didn't realize I wasn't signed in.

Lo and behold: The next time I tried to do something on Uncyclopedia, I discovered I had been banned for a year. Attempts to get onto the chat forum to flag someone to help me didn't work, and so I sat down in my newfound prison cell, weeping mightily, thinking of all the GIMP illustrations that would never come to pass.

I wish I knew why I was banned. I'm still not clear. I'm going to try to hit publish on this post, and if it works, I guess I've been welcomed back in. Whatever I did to earn a year-long ban, I'll try not to do it again.--Procopius 15:33, October 20, 2010 (UTC)

  For noobies like me, Procopus is one of the greats. I've had his user page/article list linked to my talk page for many months. Bring him tribute, and help feast on the fatted calf. Maybe what happened is Froggy banned his IP number, and it stuck, and Procopius thought it was serious and wandered into the wilderness. Hence the fatted calf. Aleister 23:41 20 10
