Unless you couldn't tell, I'm a big fan :) QUESTION: My sig has blue borders, but they fade to a dark blue. I used the span class="buttonlinks" for them. Is there any way to get the borders of my buttons to be a solid color, one that doesn't fade? and also, how do I get the date and time (not my username) after my sig? If I use four tilde's it just repeats my username which is already in my sig. How do I get only date and time? Much appreciated. --User:Cigaro Cubano/sig

Putting your signature in my preferences, and signing with 4 tildes results in the following: User:Cigaro Cubano/sig 15:57, 24 July 2006 (UTC)

Try pressing the sign-button (one but last button over the edit-box) and see what the code looks like.

But, just so you know, 5 tildes result in the time, whilst three only deliver your sig. --MoneySign 15:57, 24 July 2006 (UTC)

Wait a second... You didn't even put your signature in your preferences, did you? Guh... RTFM, is what springs to mind at first... But heck... S'pose I'll be a good guy again...

Go to your preferences and put as your nickname the following: {{SUBST:nosubst|User:Cigaro Cubano/sig}}

Also, limit images in sigs to 20 pixels in height. They get REALLY annoying really fast. --Splaka 21:21, 24 July 2006 (UTC)

I RTFM, actually no. . . I searched TFM for 'signature', 'sig', 'nickname', etc., and didn't find a thing until I came here and started slogging through the dump. . . Maybe the relevant page in TFM needs some more obvious linkage. I had the 'SUBST:' part figured out, but thanks for mentioning the 'nosubst' bit. Now I can use my new sig:   Sir Tooltroll, Esq.
