I would like to point out that the cabal administration, long ago, established a rule that any images included in a signature must have a maximum height of 12px. The rule was established because images over 12px in size do not properly fit inline with regular text. Also, no oversized text is allowed in signatures for the same reason. I point this out because I've bee noticing a lot of people with larger images in their signatures and although I've fixed a few of them, I'm getting tired of doing so. --Sir gwax (talk) Signuke.gif 16:46, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

Also, include a timestamp in your sig! —rc (t) 16:50, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

Didn't Famine recently go on a sig purge? Crazyswordsman...With SAVINGS!!!! (T/C) 17:21, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
Still on the warpath. And still looking at the long-ass, completely useless benson part of your sig with bad intentions. Bone F clear.png Sir Famine, Gun Petition » 24/10 02:09
I shortened the sig a bit more. Crazyswordsman...With SAVINGS!!!! (T/C) 02:44, 24 October 2006 (UTC)

Well somebody buffed up my signature and made it all nice, I would just like to thank you for it. I did feel a bit violated at first, however I disowned this reaction feeling it belongs to the primative leftovers that still wield some control over my endochrine system. --Sig.GIF 18:10, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

It thought it was 20px? Anyway this makes me think there should be some kind of Uncyclopedia:Various rules you didn't know existed page, with all the rules we have that aren't really written down anywhere specific. Spang talk 22:00, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

I know that it is 12px because I made the image in my sig the maximum size that I could and because fonts default to 12px and the point is to prevent the image from screwing with line spacing. --Sir gwax (talk) Signuke.gif 21:20, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
The code to add the time stamp is to put "<nowiki>~~~~~</nowiki>" at the end of your sig and to use {{Subst:YourSig}} to invoke it. The tildes that were /nowiki'ed will be transferred straight through to the page you're signing, which will then convert it into a datestamp. --Hrodulf 23:21, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

Yeah, thanks a bundle for changing my 15px Gamespot icon image to 11px. Of course, you could have just ignored it. And is 15 really that much bigger than 12px? My G icon looks diamond shaped now, as opposed to a round shape.--Witt, Union leader.gif of Union member.gif UNion Entertain me* 04:51, 21 October 2006 (UTC)

Wikipedia doesn't even let you use images in your signature; out of all of the things that they have to worry about, signatures are on the top of the list, with BENSON being right below that. They bitched about my signature, seen here. By the way, how's my star?--Hotadmin4u69 [TALK] 05:30, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
Oh boy, I wonder if BENSON has done anything over there yet? Anyway, your star looks fine emc.
For some reason, I think that's actually the userpage of the imposter Benson. This may be our Benson. He's been given a lot of trouble at Wikipedia by this guy. Crazyswordsman...With SAVINGS!!!! (T/C) 02:44, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
(Union member.gif) If you look carefully, your image at the beginning of this line causes the space between the first and second lines to be slightly larger than the space between other lines. And yes, I do know what a pain it is to conform exactly to no more than 12px, it took me a long while to get my nuke image to look good at 12px but I did do it. If you can't make the image fit, you can't have the image in your sig, it's that simple. In case any of you were wondering about this rule's been in effect since images first starting showing up in custom signatures, back in December of 2005, so it's no new thing. --Sir gwax (talk) Signuke.gif 21:20, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
And that's enough to cause you ire? How did you eventually get your nuke image to look good at 12px, I assume you mean that it was once larger than 12px.--Witt, Union leader.gif of Union member.gif UNion Entertain me* 22:41, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
It does inspire ire in me but I'm a bit of a stickler for technicality and principle. As to how I managed to get my image to work right at 12px, I tried shrinking it with a ton of different options in photoshop and then eventually gave up and did it by hand. By hand was the only way that I could get a 12x12 image that didn't suck. --Sir gwax (talk) Signuke.gif 13:41, 26 October 2006 (UTC)

I hate it when

People insist on making fun of my IP just because of the way it was born. - 192.154.65.1 19:07, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
