I mean seriously, it's pissing me off. More and more noobs are using it now. I suggest that any people putting the USERNAME template on official articles should be permabanned and then we act as if it never happened. Any thoughts?--Small Pineapple2.png» >ZEROTROUSERS!!! Nazi mode never helped anyone. Just look at Hitler. I say we simply delete it or mess it up so that it only works in Mozilla Firefox or another mediocre browser. --Starnestommy (TalkContribsFFSWP) 06:32, 21 April 2007 (UTC)

Mediocre? Mediocre? You can shove your internet explorer right up your a$$! Also, turnips. --Jesus Freak Atheist 19:54, 28 April 2007 (UTC)

There are instructions on the template page for how to disable it. Jeez, you go to the trouble of making it easily disable-able, and nobody notices! Spang talk 06:40, 21 Apr 2007

<emoticon of me rolling eyes> Yes, it's like you're in the sixth level of Dante's geek hell. <emoticon of me eating breakfast>. --Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 14:18, 21 April 2007 (UTC)

I think Zerotrousers is right - we should have the same policy about USERNAME abuse as they had back in 1984. Which would be: "User....name? What on Earth are you talking about?" --Strange.PNG (but) Untrue  Whhhy?Whut? How? *Back from the dead* 18:35, 21 April 2007 (UTC)

Then they'd straighten their skinny leather ties and put on some white-framed Ray-bans. Wicked. "...You might think its foolish....What ya put me through..." --Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 19:09, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
Actually in 1984 they had BBSes and some &&USERNAME variable to be added to posts. I used to use it with &&PASSWORD and &&PHONENUMBER to pull pranks on people and so did a lot of others. It was used as part of a welcoming message in email, but was allowed in posts as well. SYSOPS decided to filter it out of editing unless the user was a SYSOP. --Lt. 1984?

Come this is 2007 not 1984 we don't live in the middle ages anymore. What we do now is more humane:BRAIN WASH THEM AND TURN THEM INTO MINDLESS DRONES.--Scott 03:10, 27 April 2007 (UTC)
