Reworked in 2022[edit]

Moved from User talk:Spike

Hi there Spike. If it’s not too much I was wondering if you could do a rewrite/copyedit on two sections in the 1960s article: "Understanding the ‘60s” and “Culture”. The rest of the article is humorous enough, but those two specific sections were written by user Bailes27 in a rather bland, “matter of fact” sort of way lacking in humor. I feel your “flowery”, yet dry writing style would suit those sections well.--OculusWild (talk) 10:08, 6 July 2022 (UTC)

I didn't so much make it rollicking as trimmed some known sinkholes such as Wacky Conspiracies and encyclopedia clichés ("It is known that"...). There are many more topics to add, but I don't have a complete list nor remember exactly what happened when. The segue from vinyl to cassettes omits 8-tracks, whose main theme was the sudden ability to listen to music you wanted, even in the car. Spıke 🎙️14:47 6-Jul-22
