"Other Hastings" section

Would anyone be greatly miffed if I deleted most of the "Other Hastings" section? I'm afraid that all that stuff about Isotopes & the Pennfathers and the references to what appear to be local school-teachers does nothing for my funny bone whatsoever. It seems to be all "in-jokes" which doubtless mean something to somebody but is meaningless gobbledy-gook to anyone else, and has nothing at all to do with Hastings.Someone Else's Username (talk) 22:11, April 9, 2012 (UTC)

OK - I've deleted it, as it seems to be meaningless gobbledy-gook to me, however I've pasted it below in case anyone feels it really ought to be re-inserted....
