Notes[edit]

When adding a term, link it to the appropriate page whether it exists or not.

Try to keep the list to mainly be wrong meanings of chat 'lingo' that already exists,
rather than creating new acronyms

I made ROTFL 'rolling on the floor loving' since LOL was already created as 'lots of love'.(cough) bullshit sorry buh ur a nerd and a liar so..... go die!... oh ye and its rofl not roftl
I don't find either perticularly funny(1), so if you want to change ROTFL, just do it, and
make the page while you are at it if you have time.

If there is already a page that explains what it stands for, try to keep it consistant
instead of making it somthing new

Try to keep things in alphabetical order

(1) LOL is now hilarious. (last updated Paulgb Talk 15:09, 2 May 2005 (EDT))

Discussion[edit]

Um, actually, my family and I (mostly me, though) invented the now legendary internet-speak phrase, w00t. And no, I am not kidding. BOW BEFORE ME. --Invincibleflamegruemaster 04:33, October 15, 2009 (UTC)

Were you even alive in the early 90s? --monika 04:50, October 15, 2009 (UTC)
Well, actually, the real story is that my sister, who was born in the early 1990s, was called a woot. People started hearing it, and eventually it caught on. Please do not ban me or delete this message just cause I said this. --Invincibleflamegruemaster 15:30, November 2, 2009 (UTC)
Ban? Doubt it. This guy thinks you're lying, though. And this kid is insane, if you're curious. --Don't click here! I need to work on that page. (Like, now. Hm.) 15:00, May 25, 2011 (UTC)

Request: Could someone please remove the paragraph break at the beginning of the Background section?

Thanks, R (talk) 23:52, 21 January 2022 (UTC)

Done. Serial <!-- COMMENTS --> to future editors were spaced apart, leading to this excess space. Spıke 🎙️00:02 22-Jan-22
