This isn't very good[edit]

This template isn't very good. It's got too many red links and is poorly organized, not to mention incomplete (ex: the "anime" section contains nowhere near the total number of anime pages here) although adding all the missing pieces would only make the template more unweildy. Suggestion: break into a series of templates (TV, Radio, etc.). -Tritefantastic 02:13, 16 February 2007 (UTC)

Suggestion[edit]

I suggest adding a "music" section, with perhaps some singers and different styles of music. 213.165.173.124 22:44, 14 April 2007 (UTC)

Help![edit]

How do I open it up!? It's broken!

Yeh... unfortunately I don't think this works on Firefox... works fine for me on IE. My theory is that whoever made this template is a dumbass... so of course it works with the browser for dumbasses.70.19.172.97 21:28, 18 October 2007 (UTC)

It works on Firefox as well as IE, and should work on all browsers with javascript enabled. If it's not working on Firefox, check you have JS enabled and that no plugins such as noscript are blocking scripts. Spang talk 22:43, 18 Oct 2007

Template not opening[edit]

The template is not opening and I cannot see the contents of the template. --DylanMcKaneWiki (talk) 11:31, August 3, 2016 (UTC)

Modular approach[edit]

I used a modular approach for the Mass Media template, so it works like a chest of drawers that can be pulled out and shuffled around (per suggestion). To answer 213.165.173.12 above, {{Band Class}} or a new Template:Mass Media/Music can be added to the Mass Media template as list5. Additionally, the Television, Movies, Internet, and Games can be used by themselves if desired.

I think I solved the brokenness when I caught this small coding mistake. The color scheme is still kinda "meh", but I think the reduction of visible code in the editing window makes this an improvement overall. Dark Web, White Hat (talk) 09:25, 3 May 2021 (UTC)
