This is really good: well written, wry without getting hysterical or stupid, fully fleshed out. As per the usual, I suggest a lead image to go with it. Suggestions (which don't have to be taken) would be a door with hole smashed in it, a derelict house with a door hanging off one hinge. If you look for the 2017 DARPA robot competition, you might find pictures of the fail robots that fell over trying to turn a doorknob. Since it is lengthy, I suggest at least one other picture, maybe of a cat that has learned to open a door for the "gripping" section. Then add the categories at article bottom; search "categories" to get the list of possibles if you haven't already done so elsewhere. Let me know when done if you need help moving this to the top of the "Recent Articles" list, which should always be done with completed articles of any type.

EDIT: The style for section headers and subheads is that only the first word is capitalized except for proper nouns. It is also preferable to not put links in the headers. There are just a couple of spelling/grammar fixes needed in the article. Although there are grammarNazis out there that might do it for you, they also might decide to rewrite your article at the same time for the worse.
