Visual Basic[edit]

Nigel Scribbler has helped me by making a better napkin image and inspiring me to write material to expand the "Features" and "Reception" sections (but all blame for anything shitty in these sections should fall on me). Now I am soliciting feedback on the article as a whole.—GINA Is Not an Acronym (talk) 14:57, August 10, 2018 (UTC)

Truly a micro review here, so don't hesitate to get another review.

For filling out both sections mentioned, maybe think about including mention of hackers. Namedrop rivals like Larry Ellison, either in action or quotes. It's not your typical style but I would lie BIG TIME, saying how Visual Basic is the foundation for Google and the company is worried about support ending for the program, for example, or how it was used to land astronauts on Venus. So you might riff off that and make it more subtle than I can.

"Reception" could include something about Russia and North Korea hackers and why they like Visual Basic so much. You already mention gamers and games a bit but you can always add on more in both sections, a popular topic around here. You might say something like it was so thoroughly adopted by programmers that a new operating system requiring a new language was then guaranteed.

I have also submitted a picture for your approval over at the request page.
