Forum:British politics articles
I suggest that we have a community effort to clean up articles surrounding the topic of British politics next month. I've come across quite a few gaps in our uncyclopedia and also atrocious articles that address the subject. I've made two lists below. Please feel free to add articles to them where appropriate and next month we can have a go at cleaning up and making as many as we can. I think cleaning up articles should be a priority over making new ones. SirScott 14:09, May 10, 2015 (UTC)

Suggestions for new articles
- Green Party (UK)
- Proportional Representation (It's not UK specific, but we could do with it)
- The Chief's opinion on my contest entry at First-past-the-post voting included that it didn't have enough UK and didn't cover the alternatives, which I am not going to be able to satisfy as fully as desired, so there is an opportunity here. Spıke Ѧ 14:26 10-May-15

Comments
The problem with most of our UK political party articles is that they are out of date and over-clichéd. SirScott 14:09, May 10, 2015 (UTC)
- All political party and politician articles are targets for Anon to dump a load of bile and then leave. It's good for people in the know to stand watch over them. Orion Blastar alit yesterday and complained that our Hillary Clinton was out-of-date; he started and I went in big-time afterwards. Your call for a community effort presumably can be ignored by the Yanks? Spıke Ѧ 14:30 10-May-15
- It can be ignored by anyone. But if someone does have an interest or knowledge of the topic in any of the articles I'd be happy if they'd help. SirScott 14:48, May 10, 2015 (UTC)
- It was out of date and she is back in running for President in 2016 with new scandals. We need to do the same with the US politics article as well. If I knew about British politics I'd help out but I'm a US citizen who doesn't follow British politics. So I'd only muck them up badly. Orion Blastar (talk) 23:56, May 26, 2015 (UTC)
- I might look at the Green Party if that's ok, curious to see if there is a generic green, or how many different shades of green qualify. --EStop (talk) 19:44, May 10, 2015 (UTC)
- Agree that the politics pages will need an update and some need a lot of pruning or just prunes (eg:Nick Clegg to Nick Clogged and Out. --RomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 21:42, May 10, 2015 (UTC)
- Started sketching out a piece for the Green Party (UK). Open invitation to play if you fancy. I'll continue with the outline tomorrow and then start working in/expanding the jokes, pics etc. --EStop (talk) 19:37, May 11, 2015 (UTC)

Sinn Féin
I could write a Sinn Féin article but it would take me quite a while to do it. (Chatter) 18:58, May 21, 2015 (UTC)
- Please go ahead. SirScott 09:23, May 22, 2015 (UTC)
- I'd need someone to write the Southern Ireland section cause I don't know a thing about the Sinners down south (Chatter) 18:45, May 24, 2015 (UTC)
The event will start in June
I know a few of you have jumped the gun and that's fine because this isn't a competition but just a reminder that this will start/continue in June. SirScott 09:23, May 22, 2015 (UTC)
