Forum:The new UnNews Czar
Guess what, folks? There isn't gonna be one. What we might have instead is a person or a small group of people or even a relatively large group of people taking care of stuff in the UnNews namespace. You don't need to be approved by a vote to do this, you don't even need to apply for the job to do this, all you have to do to do this is... wait for it... just do it. This is a wiki and you, yes you, are allowed to edit it.[1] So... what are you allowed to do then? Basically, most of the things the previous UnNews Czars were allowed to do, though both SPIKE and TheHumbucker have had their moments of enforcing things they shouldn't really have been enforcing and shouldn't have had the authority to enforce all by themselves either. So when do you know you're going a little bit overboard while trying to take care of UnNews in whatever way you're convinced is best? Well, when you're sure that, being just 1 regular contributer to the site, you don't have the authority to make a certain important decision and need approval from the community, and you make that important decision on your own and enforce it anyway, that's when you're going overboard. Additionally, when people are complaining about you having dictatorial tendencies, that might be a good indication as well.
In conclusion, feel free to do all the UnNews-related editorial/janitorial jobs you feel like doing, but realize that when you go out of line[2], getting banned certainly is a possibility. So please don't go out of line. —Sir Socky

- Wow I didnt realise it was so easy to empower everyone like that. A couple paragraphs and suddenly the wiki is run by everyone. Little explanation as to why I created this little forum as people like to assume bad faith, apparently[3]
Right, so Olipro was telling me about how TheHumbucker left after telling him that he wouldn't leave. Sadly, though, he did leave. As sad as the fact of a great contributer to the site leaving may be, we have to move on. Now, the thought that had me worried went something like "What happens now? Who will take charge of things? Either hardly anyone will still edit the templates and UnNews will become semi-abandoned, or everybody will try to edit the templates the way they see fit and disputes will arise over who has authority." This is why I felt the need to spell out my vision of how UnNews could be run without any unnecessary drama arising. What I also wanted to do was to encourage multiple users to go ahead and get involved with UnNews and find a good way to run it, together. - This is a very reasonable explanation and I apologize for assuming your bad faith; of course you don't strike me as the guy, which was why I was particularly surprised in the first place and assumed (somewhat correctly) that Olipro inspired this. Still, I see this whole forum as kind of redundant to let it keep going, but as a capstone it does alright now.--

When he deleted this. This is a pretty unnecessary topic. You coulda just put this as a response on that other UnNews topic thing, and you shoulda done that because that's where this belongs. Making a whole new topic is wholly unnecessary, and reeks of grandstanding. Forum topics started as "an end to an argument" never work because you're making a whole new forum about it. So thanks for letting us know about the outcome of that vote. But next time, keep it to the page of the vote. We're in a hot tub filled with beef dripping, sipping cocktails (mine's a pina colada) reminiscing about that sojourn we once took. I dont care more than any of you dont care
I dont care so much...that I dont even think its necesary to finish this sentence. I wont even put a period or any other punctuation at the end of this sentence!.,? Infact, my plan is not not write enough sentences to finish a paragraph.
That is how much I dont care. I am so...like...totally not caring that I dont even feel like writing anything. This whole Czar stuff is so lame. Its like...totally about power and control and stuff. Power is like lame. So is control, I would also say that that blows. And stuff, stuff is also lame and also blows big time.
