With the Star Wars films being popular, it is no surprise that there are also television series to "expand" storytelling in a galaxy, far, far away. After making his Prequel Trilogy, George Lucas made two animated series of the same name, with the only difference being the use of the word "the" and only one of them being considered 'canon' in the long run. This is a list of all television series that take place in the Star Wars universe.

Prequels[edit]
- Clone Wars
Wait, actually, no. Don't watch this one. It's no longer canon. See next for the canon one.
- The Clone Wars
All right now, this is where things are going to start get confusing, so pay attention. You see, The Clone Wars itself isn't in chronological order. So a few episodes of season 2 and one of season 3 take place before season 1. This is a recurring theme for the series, however, seasons 5, 6 and 7 are in chronological watch order.
The series follows many, many characters — as if Dave Filoni just couldn't pick one, so he just used them all — throughout the Clone War.
Post-Prequels[edit]
- Tales of the Empire
Grand Admiral Thrawn and Darth Vader both step aside and allow their female companians have all the spotlight.
- The Bad Batch
The Bad Batch go do some Bad Batch things. Not much happens.
- Obi-Wan Kenobi
Obi-Wan, aging on the sands of Tatooine, does something before A New Hope and that one Rebels episode that warrants he gets his own series.
- Rebels
Kanan and Ezra are two Jedi who work for the Rebellion. They meet Ahsoka Tano (from The Clone Wars — see, everything is connected) and go and fight Darth Vader, whom Ahsoka doesn't know is her former master — Anakin Skywalker.
Ahsoka and Vader fight and Vader kills his former padawan off screen. In season 4, Ezra goes back in time and saves Ahsoka.
- Andor
Cassian Andor, who the show is named after, becomes a spy for the Rebellion after the Chinese Spy Balloon corps don't take him.

Before the events of The Mandalorian, Din Djarin worked on Earth as a DEA agent. After taking down Pablo Escobar, Din moved to space and became a Bounty Hunter. He was given Mandalorian armour by a man named Prospect, after he killed a little girls dad.

The New Republic[edit]
- The Mandalorian
Set five years after Return of the Jedi, you will now need to watch the first Star Wars live-action series, The Mandalorian.
Bin Barin, an adopted Mandalorian Bounty Hunter, kidnaps a baby Yoda. Not baby-baby Yoda, but a baby of the same species of Yoda. They then go on many adventures together with characters from The Clone Wars and Rebels before Luke Skywalker shows up and purchases the child from Bin, making the Mandalorian cry with joy since he doesn't have to deal with Grogu anymore.
- The Book of Boba Fett
Set after the post-credit scene of Chapter 16 of Season 2 of The Mandalorian, you will now watch The Book of Boba Fett.
Boba and Fennec take over Jabbas' palace, after killing Bib Fortuna, in a bid to become the next crime lords. Boba also has a few flashbacks to the time he was thrown into the Sarlacc Pitt by a blind Han Solo in Return of the Jedi.
- Ahsoka
Ahsoka only makes sense by watching four entirely different shows (both live-action and animated), seven books, and is of cruical viewing if one wants to watch Dave Filoni's upcoming movie which is said to be the Avengers of the Star Wars franchise.

Don't worry, you really don't have to watch this one - but if you want the whole Star Wars experience, well, why not, it's only two seasons....
